A perfect yeast for making big, juicy East Coast IPAs! Juice is just what its name implies, bringing out the juicy notes of new fruity hops and giving beer a character like a juicebox! It is purportedly originally an English strain of yeast, but with medium flocculation and attenuation characteristics, goes a long way in both American and English ales of all kinds. It has a wonderful ester profile which does well in East Coast IPAs, but can also produce wonderful pale ales, IPAs, bitters, and milds, and will go a long way in beers where a nice juicy ester profile is desired. It can be a very vigorous yeast strain, so be sure to allow plenty of headspace or use a blowoff tube during fermentation!
