This thermometer is a great addition for your existing brew kettle or cooler style mash tun. The 6 in. stem makes it perfect for a mash tun as the longer stem reaches nearer to the center of your mash, thus giving you more accurate readings. If you want a smaller stem for your boil kettle or hot liquor tank, we recommend the 2.5 in. stem thermometer (item# GF376).
The thermometer has an easy to read 3 in. dial face, and sports a 1/2 in. male npt fitting which allows it to be installed on practically any homebrew setup. A great thermometer at a great price!
