Beersquatch! This beer is a big English style barleywine that is perfect for aging and sipping! While not aggressively hoppy and super boozy like an American style barleywine, this classic English style beer has complex malt notes that are married with earthy English hops. Amber and Simpson's Extra Dark Crystal malts give toasty and sweet stone fruit flavors that accentuate the malty character from the Maris Otter base. Challenger is used for bittering, with East Kent Goldings used as finishing hops to make this every bit a true British style barleywine! Beersquatch will improve in complexity with age, and is the perfect beer for barrel or wood aging.
