Bordeaux bottles are the standard bottles for bottling all types of wine! These bottles contract sharply at the neck, allowing them to stay in a slanted wine rack better than other designs. This is a case of 12 green 750 mL Bordeaux-style wine bottles that are cork finish (meaning they must be closed using a cork). They measure roughly 11.5 in. tall and have a bottom diameter of roughly 2.75 in. A handy and versatile bottle, green Bordeaux bottles are generally used for red wines, while clear bottles are generally preferred for white and fruit wines. Corks not included and must be purchased separately. We generally recommend either #8 or #9 corks for these bottles.
