A perfect press for soft fruits such as grapes and berries, the #25 fruit press has a unique stationary threaded shaft with ratcheting head design. This allows you to ratchet down the press, creating greater torque and doing a better job of pressing soft fruit than presses that utilize a screw and plate design. The result is more yield of juice for wine making! This press has a 50 lb. capacity when full. Please note that it is not for use with hard fruits such as apples and pears.
