Pale ale malt from Great Western! This is a grain we brought in for our Outlier's grain sale, but due to popular demand, we are now carrying this permanently! Great Western Northwest Pale Ale Malt is a malt that is kilned to a slightly darker color than standard 2-row brewer's malt, and as such has a lovely complexity and richness. While this is an American malt, Great Western goes to great lengths to malt this as closely to traditional British pale ale malting guidelines as possible. The results come out clearly in the flavor and aroma of beers brewed with this fabulous malt. Great in American pale ales, IPAs or any British style, this is a great base malt all around.
