One of the biggest points of feedback we hear with the Tapcooler is that the stock silicone seal does not work with growlers. Because of this, you are stuck filling your growlers in the same old way you always have, losing carbonation and freshness in the process. Well, your feedback has been heard, and we now have the solution! This silicone bung replaces the stock bottle seal that comes with the Tapcooler, and allows you to fill your growlers the best possible way to make sure your beer stays fresh the longest. Just slip of the bottle seal from the Tapcooler and replace with this bung and voila! You're ready to fill growlers.
NOTE: This is no ordinary silicone stopper. We had to special order these from Europe as their standard hole size for stoppers is 9mm which fits perfectly on the Tapcooler. The standard here in the USA is 9.52 which makes it a bit too loose to create a proper seal.
