Hello There is a big west coast style IPA that we have developed to not only celebrate one of our favorite characters from a galaxy far, far away, but also to showcase the new Star Party yeast from Omega Yeast Labs. The second in their thiolized series of yeasts after Cosmic Punch, Star Party is a thiolized version of the famed Chico yeast strain. What does this mean for you, the brewer? These yeast increase aromatic thiol compounds and skyrocket them to the moon (that's no moon)! This causes a huge aromatic punch of passion fruit, pink guava, and citrus zest! The light grain bill includes red rye crystal and victory (over the Empire) malts for character, and Cascade, Talus and Galaxy hops which are perfectly suited to the style. Mash hopping is recommended for increasing these thiols further, so we have included a mash hop addition of Cascade hops. This is the beer kit you are looking for!
