Mackinac is a hop proprietary to Great Lakes Hops with excellent fruit and tropical characteristics that make it perfect for hoppy beers of all kinds! This goes well in new beers styles that trend toward a softer bitterness with a ton of fruit character. It has relatively low cohululone levels which makes it nice and smooth when used in beers. With tropical notes of papaya and melon, Mackinac also has underlying floral and peppery notes. Try it in your next hop-centered beer!
