Dark and delicious! Night Sky is our Czech dark lager recipe, developed by our own Steven Kent! This beer uses light munich, aromatic and Carafa II grains to give it a malty breadiness and dark color, and Saaz hops contribute bitterness, flavor and aroma. This beer can either be fermented as a traditional lager using any number of Czech lager yeast strains, or can be fermented at higher temperatures using Lutra Kveik yeast, if precise temperature control is not an option. Either way, we have found that this beer turns out wonderfully! A light breadiness upon a dark and delicious base with the perfect amount of hop character, Night Sky (or "Nocni Obloha" in Czech) is sure to please!
