This is a 1000 count package of micro agglomerated wine corks (also known as Neutrocorks) and are no. 7 x 1-1/2 inch (38mm x 21mm) straight corks. This size cork can be inserted by hand in a standard 750ml or 375ml wine bottle. Just get the cork started by hand then finish inserting by pushing the cork in using a door jamb or sturdy wall. Micro-agglomerated corks are made of small, uniformly-sized natural cork granules that are pressed and hot vapor treated to form in individual molds. This process reduces Trichloranisole (TCA), a leading cause of unwanted cork flavors and mustiness in wine. These micro-agglomerated corks are recommended for wines you intend to drink within two years. The corks are printed with a decorative grape pattern.
