Need more diastatic power for your high adjunct beers? Rahr 6 row is a fine choice for use in beers that have high amounts of corn, wheat, rye, oats, or other brewing adjuncts. 6-row malt has a higher enzymatic content that standard 2-row and pilsner base malts, and is used in the production of high adjunct beers and bases for other beverages. It is relatively light in color, registering 2.1 - 2.5L. 6-row can be used for up to 100% of the base of a beer. It works great to get more complete sugar conversion from your grains and adjuncts, and extra husk material makes for better lautering in high adjuct brews that are prone to stuck mashes and sparges.
