Sugar Creek Caramel 80L is a darker caramel malt that imparts a ruby color to beer. Its flavor is rich and more complex than lighter caramel malts, with richer notes of burnt sugar, raisin and stone fruits emerging with the sweetness and caramel flavors that are typical in caramel malts. Sugar Creek Caramel 80L also adds body and head retention, as well as residual sweetness. Malted locally in Lebanon, Indiana, this is a delicious caramel/crystal malt that is quite unique!
