Sugar Creek Pale malt is a locally malted version of a standard American or English pale malt that is used in a wide array of ales. It measures 2 to 3 on the Lovibond scale. This malt is made of 2 row Conlon barley grown right here in Indiana. From lighter pale ales and IPAs, running the gamut through amber beers into the richer porters and stouts, pale malt from Sugar Creek makes a great base for all! This malt has great diastatic power, and can be used for up to 100% of the base in almost any beer style.
