Sultana, formerly known as Denali or Experimental Hop 06277, is a relatively new and very unique hop variety! With descriptors that include pineapple, citrus and pine, this bold hop is perfect for IPAs! However, it can also be used in American pale ales and many other American-style ales. Sultana has dank resin notes, as well as refreshing citrus and beautiful fruit components. Its character is also described as "bright," making it perfect to brighten up beers of all kinds! It is high in total oils, with a particularly high alpha acid content but with a relatively low amount of beta acids. This hop will surely make a difference in your brewing if you are looking for something new!
