Trebbiano is a widely-planted white grape wine variety found in Italy and France (known as Ungi Blanc in France.) While the name of the grape may not be well-known, it is a workhorse and a powerful force in the wine industry, being generally used as a blending grape in many sought after wines. It produces a light, refreshing wine with plenty of acidity. Trebbiano wines tend to be crisp and lighter in body and alcohol than other varietals, its flavor and aroma being fresh and fruity.
