Valpolicella is a wine that comes from the northeastern Italian Veneto region, and is made from a blend of wine grapes grown in the region. Valpolicella usually heavily features Corvina, as well as Rondinella and Molinara grapes, to make a unique and much sought-after wine that has come back into popular production in recent years. These wines are known for their sour cherry flavors, with notes of flowers and earth, and their zesty acidity which makes a wine that pares well with all types of food, notably seafood. Valipolicella is sometimes served slightly chilled for a robust and rich, yet refreshing treat!
