This unique kveik strain comes courtesy of Sigmund Gjernes from Voss, Norway, and works well across a wide range of temperatures! It ferments fast and remains relatively clean, with earthy flavors and a touch of orange peel aromas. It can be used to ferment a wide range of beers and make a number of beer styles, including farmhouse styles, American and English ales of all kinds, and can even be used in the production of ciders and meads! Fermentation speeds really take off at higher temperatures, and this strain tends to be non-phenolic
