It combines two trappist yeast strains with a Belgian ale yeast to give a straightforward blend that works well in several different Belgian style beers. In addition to trappist ales, this can be used for dubbels, trippels, golden strong ales, dark strong ales, saisons, Belgian pales and IPAs, Grand Cru...the list goes on! Fairly attenuative, this yeast has been described as having complex fruity esters and complex phenolics that blend into flavors and aromas reminiscent of cherry, rose hips, and lemon zest. A great blend to lend that Belgian character to any beer!
