Denny's Favorite 50 is a unique yeast in that it produces malt-forward beers without making them too sweet or come off as under-attenuated. While balance is often towards malt, adequate hopping rates will ensure hops will not only come through, but fruit and citrus notes will shine. This yeast can be used for nearly any ale, with a style range that spans from American IPAs to Sweet Stouts. This yeast produces excellent beers, yet is often overlooked in place of more common, neutral American yeast strains. However, a good temperature range, decent attenuation, and malty profile qualities make this a yeast you may want to check out!
